Dr. Adam is living his childhood dream as an orthodontist. He truly loves creating beautiful, healthy smiles and serving his hometown community!
His greatest passion is helping his patients achieve their full smile potential. For him, there is no greater feeling than seeing the look of joy on each of his patients’ faces as they complete their smile journey. He also takes great pride in keeping up with the latest and greatest technology and continuing education in the field of orthodontics.
Dr. Adam is a Charlotte native and is thrilled to be practicing in his hometown for the long haul. He completed his undergraduate education at Florida State University where he graduated with honors. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UNC-Chapel Hill, where he formed his love for the Tar Heels and met his wife, Dr. Kait (a dental match made in heaven!) He continued his training at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where he completed a three-year residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. He also received a Master’s degree for his thesis on the relationship of childhood obesity to craniofacial growth, which he later went on to publish in the European Journal of Orthodontics!
During his free time, Dr. Adam enjoys fitness, golfing, skiing, traveling, cheering on the Panthers and Tar Heels, and spending time with his family and doggy, Ruby.
Dr. Adam practiced orthodontics in Columbus, OH for two years while his wife completed her residency. Throughout those two years, he gained experience treating both pediatric and adult patients. He has developed expertise in surgical and non-surgical orthodontics and has experience with traditional metal braces, clear braces and Invisalign clear aligner therapy and lingual braces. He is a certified diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, the highest regarded professional organization in the field of orthodontics.
